Every Family’s Got One storytelling show!
It’s for one night only – on October 11th at 7:00 pm at the Cinema Arts Center in Huntington, New York.
What is a storytelling show you ask?
Well, Barbara and I, along with 7 other amazing New York area writer/storytellers, will be telling original, true stories about our families. And yes, we will be live onstage!
To give you an idea of what to expect…
my story is about the time I accidentally took my 70-year-old mother to a sex shop! Barbara’s piece is about when she was 13 and made a confession at church that didn’t go the way she expected.
Tony Mennuto tells a hysterical tale about the one and only time he saw his father, one of nicest guys in the world, really, really drunk. And Lisa Leshaw recalls, oh so magically, the special bond she shared with her beloved grandfather.
This is just a tiny taste of what is in store for you.
Stories that are heart-stopping, heartwarming, and laugh-out-loud funny are all on the menu from our talented ensemble – Maria Adcock, Neil Kramer, Kate Mayer, Barbara Solomon Josselsohn, and Lance Werth. And, all celebrate what Every Family’s Got One founder and producer Barbara truly believes…
that every family has a story.
And that sharing our stories is a wonderful way to connect us as a community.
In the spirit of celebrating family, Barbara and I are thrilled that 10 percent of our ticket sales will benefit the Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice of Suffolk. This organization was just amazing to my father when he came home from the hospital this spring and does such great work in our community.

that although our show is all about family it is intended for a mature audience. So, leave the kiddos at home!
