That’s right EFGO Live Shows return in 2022 – in NYC and on Long Island. You can be sure I’ll keep you posted as all the little details for our big plans take shape.
is a great time to begin writing your true family story, and I’m going to take my own advice.
It’s probably because I’ve been spending more time with my parents, Betty and Ron, over the last year that so many of my childhood memories have been resurfacing.
-Root beer floats at Grandma Herel’s
-Sunday ritual: pushing Dad out of bed
-Dead Animal Wall
-Dinner-table conversation: Babe, you gotta wrap up your sanitary napkins
These are some of my Post-it Note scribbles that I have stuck all over my computer, and I have to get these fragments fleshed out while I remember how they unfolded and what they mean to me, you know?
I hope you do the same.
If you need help, I’ll be offering EFGO Storytelling Mentorships, where I’ll work one-on-one with you to develop & bring your unique story to life. I’m putting the details together now and will share with you shortly.
So, do sign-up for the newsletter so you won’t miss any of the EFGO excitement.
Hey, I wrote a parenting essay that’s in this fabulous book – Tick-Tock: Essays on Becoming a Parent After 40. It comes out on September 21, but you can pre-order on Amazon or Bookshop.
Also, I’ve been researching & writing on a couple of fun & interesting podcasts: StrollerCoaster: A Parenting Podcast created by the good folks at Munchkin; and an adoption-parenting podcast that I’ll be able to tell you about it as soon as it launches. I can’t wait.
And, check out Season 1 & 2 of the EFGO Podcast!
Talk to you soon!
